Very noisy at night, especially on weekends. the noise from nearby clubs and bars made it difficult to sleep.

I had a really nice stay, with location in old town. Breads and croissants were offered for breakfast. I liked the room with nice wine glasses and lovely balcony, as for instance.

my apartment was nice near the public transport and the center of the city as well as the best restaurant street. it was exceptionally nice in the old town.

We had a great Christmas stay, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The apartment was equipped with smoke detectors for safety.

We stayed at a spacious and super clean apartment in the heart of the old area. the owners left us a lovely welcome kit with amenities like water bottles and shampoo. the apartment had everything we needed, including a coffee maker, dishes, pots for cooking, and a washing machine. We also had plenty of towels and blankets. the location was fabulous, with many dining options nearby and the cable cars of Funchal just a 5-minute walk away. We could even see the cable cars from the window.

It was a comfortable and convenient stay. Cons: Nothing, no complaints at all.

I had a wonderful week staying at Taberna Apartments in Funchal. The location was fantastic, close to the bus station and gondola station, making it easy to explore the city. The kitchen in the apartment was well-equipped, allowing me to prepare meals. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location of the apartment is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. You can easily explore the fish market nearby and indulge in some fresh seafood. Plus, being close to the cable car means you can easily access stunning views of the city and surrounding areas.

Although the location is great for immersing yourself in the lively atmosphere of the old town, it can get quite noisy in the evenings. the nearby bars and restaurants can be loud, so if you're a light sleeper or prefer a more tranquil setting, this might not be the best option for you.

The apartment was very spacious and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the host was also very welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to leave our luggage at the apartment until our flight. the location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city. We were surrounded by great restaurants and bars, and the beach was only a short distance away. It was the perfect spot for exploring the city and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. Plus, being so close to the sea was a great bonus.

There were a few downsides to our stay. the noise from the nearby club was unbearable, especially with our apartment being directly opposite them.

Cozy stay, spent 6 fantastic days here. Great location near the cable car. Loved having an electric kettle, microwave, and sofa bed. The only downside was that our beds were too big! 🌟

I recently stayed at Ourmadeira - Taberna Apartments, Old Town for a week-long vacation. The location was perfect, with easy access to the cable car, seafront, and plenty of nearby restaurants. The apartment itself was spacious and well-appointed, with a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine. The lovely balcony from one of the bedrooms was a nice touch. I was pleasantly surprised to find beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the apartment. Special mention goes to Vanessa, the helpful manager, who was available to assist with any queries throughout my stay.

I loved the central location, close to restaurants, bars, shops, and the port. the apartment was spacious and clean, with everything we needed. Good price/quality value. the receptionists were kind and accommodating. the atmosphere and music added a fun touch. Strong wifi connection.

That the shower in our room did not drain very well, which was quite inconvenient. we were disappointed that our room did not have a nice beach view like some of the other rooms.
